Dendrological Assessments and Inventories

Trees are the basic backbone of greenery, and we perceive them as a key element of the territory’s stability and identity, which we approach with respect – especially in the case of mature specimens with high dendrological, cultural, and social value.

We prepare dendrological assessments as expert documentation for qualified decision-making regarding their protection, treatment, or replacement.

We evaluate the health status, vitality, stability, and perspective of trees in the context of the entire environment – not as isolated elements, but as part of a functional greenery system.

The inventory and evaluation of trees are processed in accordance with valid legislation and professional standards (especially the decrees of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic No. 579/2008 Coll., 170/2021 Coll., 158/2014 Coll., and Arboricultural Standards).

The aim of the inventory is to locate, identify, and comprehensively evaluate the trees in the project area as a basis for further design and decision-making processes. The evaluation includes taxonomic and dendrometric data, qualitative parameters, and subsequent specialized surveys.

The spatial surveying of trees within the project area is provided through geodetic measurement, processed in DWG/DXF formats in the JTSK coordinate system and the Bpv vertical system.

The outputs include:

• tree inventory site plans and detailed inventory tables with an accompanying report
• proposals for professional treatment or management of trees
• identification of high-risk specimens
• proposals for compensatory planting and greenery restoration
• documentation for permitting processes
