Public Urban and Rural Spaces
Public spaces shape the identity of cities and municipalities and fundamentally influence the quality of life. We design them as functional, safe, and aesthetically valuable environments that support social interaction, inclusion, and ecological stability.
Each design is part of a broader context – landscape, ecological, and urban. As part of our holistic approach, we perceive every element as part of an interconnected system where plants, water, soil, and people form one functioning whole.
We emphasize:
- universal design and accessibility
- blue-green infrastructure
- biodiversity support
- high-quality and durable materials
🌳 City Parks
We design city parks as green infrastructure hubs that fulfill ecological, recreational, and social functions. They are not just places for active and passive relaxation but actively contribute to cooling the city, water retention, and increasing biodiversity. We create parks as living systems with diverse vegetation structures, water features, and space for all generations.
🏛️ Squares (Park Squares)
We perceive squares as the representative hearts of cities that carry their identity. We design them as park squares, where paved surfaces naturally complement greenery, street furniture, and, where possible, water features, and are connected with the businesses surrounding the square.
We emphasize:
- stayability and comfort (shade, water, greenery)
- microclimate and climate resilience
- blue-green infrastructure (water must not be drained into the sewage system!)
- flexibility of space use for various cultural and social activities
🌾 Village Commons
Village commons are the heart of municipalities and the carriers of their identity. We design them with respect for the historical context and the character of the landscape.
We create spaces that:
- support community life
- preserve local identity
- naturally integrate greenery and water features
🚶♂️ Streets
Streets are communication arteries, but also public spaces of daily life. We design them as multifunctional urban spaces that combine transport, staying, and greenery.
We emphasize:
- safety and clarity
- comfort for pedestrians and cyclists
- integration of tree alleys and blue-green infrastructure
- microclimate improvement
🌊 Waterfronts and Water Features
We design waterfronts of rivers, streams, and water bodies as a natural part of the urban structure – not as a barrier, but as a connecting and shape-forming element of the area.
Part of the designs is:
- integration into public space
- water retention and flood protection measures
- creation of biocorridors and ecological links
- support of recreation and staying by the water
⚽ Sports Grounds
We design sports grounds as a full-fledged part of public space. In addition to high-quality facilities for sports, we also integrate ecological and landscape principles.
We emphasize:
- functionality and safety
- integration into the landscape
- blue-green infrastructure
- comfort for users and visitors
🛝 Playgrounds (Inclusive and Intergenerational)
We perceive playgrounds as a key element of public space. We design them as an inclusive and intergenerational environment where children, parents, and seniors meet.
These are spaces where:
- children of different ages play
- children with physical and mental disabilities are involved
- the community naturally meets
Basic principles:
- barrier-free access and physical accessibility
- sensory diversity (touch, sound, color, scent)
- social inclusion (playing together, not separately)
- safety without segregation
🕊️ Cemeteries, Urn Groves, and Crematoria
We perceive memorial sites as a specific type of landscape design where the space has an aesthetic and ecological function, but also a strong emotional and symbolic meaning.
We design them as:
- peaceful and dignified environments for contemplation
- spaces for gathering family and loved ones
- greenery compositions ranging from cultivated designs to natural forest parks
🌱 Educational Eco-centers, Botanical Gardens, and Arboreta
We design these spaces as places of knowledge, education, and contact with nature.
We connect:
- ecological principles
- educational functions
- aesthetic value of the landscape
Part of the designs is work with biodiversity, water, wind (also in the form of various types of wind turbines), sun (also in the form of photovoltaic systems), and soil as basic elements of a living system.
